A New Face in the Classroom

Nick Macziewski began his new role as a Special Education Teacher in Montevideo Public Schools recently to help students grow and learn. This local fellow is no stranger to our neck of the woods, having called Montevideo home for the past seven years. Before he set down roots here, Nick walked the halls as a graduate of Gretna High School. It is always a treat to see someone who already knows our town so well step into a position helping our kids. He certainly brings plenty of community spirit along with his professional experience. We love seeing familiar faces take on big responsibilities in our district. I am sure he will make a wonderful addition to the teaching staff this year. If you run into him at the grocery store or the post office, be sure to give him a friendly wave and a warm Thunder Hawk welcome. He has been part of our community for quite a while now, and it is lovely to see him take this next step in his career right here in town.
