All 201 Minnesota Legislative Seats Are on Ballot, Including Redwood County Races
The contests for Senate District 15 and House District 15B will help shape decisions about schools, roads, health care and rural communities.

Minnesota voters are deciding every seat in the state Legislature on Tuesday, November 3, 2026: 67 Senate seats and 134 House seats. The results will determine how power is divided at the Capitol, where lawmakers set budgets and make decisions about schools, roads, taxes and public services.
Redwood County's state Senate District 15 race features Republican Braxton John Seifert and DFL candidate Andrea Boettger. In House District 15B, Republican Geri Theis faces DFL candidate Keith R. Klawitter. These are the general-election candidates listed for the two districts by the Minnesota Secretary of State.
For our region, the consequences go beyond party control. The lawmakers elected will have a voice in rural health care funding, school support, roads and bridges, agriculture and other issues affecting southwest Minnesota.
