Cedar Mountain Adds Grades 7–12 Choir and Expands Career Learning

A redesigned Family and Consumer Science space, Xello career planning and a new choir are part of the 2026–27 school year.

Cedar Mountain Middle/High School is introducing a choir program for students in grades 7 through 12 during the 2026–27 school year, according to a message from Principal Tony Miller. The school expects choir performances at concerts in December and May; exact dates should be confirmed with the district.

The principal also reports improvements to Family and Consumer Science classrooms and new windows, supporting hands-on Career and Technical Education. Cedar Mountain is introducing Xello, a college and career exploration tool, to help students and families plan post-secondary paths.

The district also describes moving from Schoology to Google Classroom and updated expectations for storing student phones during class.

These changes affect students and families connected to Cedar Mountain's Morgan and Franklin campuses. For specific choir and program information, consult the school's official announcements.
