DNR publishes list of protected waters

The Department of Natural Resources has published the final inventory of protected waters and wetlands for our county. If you own land near a creek or any kind of wetland, you really ought to take a look at the map. This list is what decides which bodies of water are under state environmental regulations, and that can change what you are allowed to do on your property.
