Four Candidates File for Two Delhi Council Seats

Delhi's local ballot includes a four-person field for two City Council seats, according to the Minnesota Secretary of State's 2026 candidate filing directory.

Sherry Friese, Brandon Geske, Deborah Smith and Scarlett Telthoester are listed for the council seats. Austin Telthoester appears as a candidate for mayor. The city clerk-treasurer office is marked 'No candidates filed' in the state directory.

A lack of listed filings is not the same as a certified election outcome. It does not, by itself, say how any vacant office would ultimately be filled. Voters should consult their sample ballot and official election information for details.

For a small community, council members have a direct role in deciding priorities and municipal services.

Minnesota Riverlands follows state election filings so residents in Delhi can see their local races alongside regional coverage.
