Grant funding available for mental health
SMAMHC seeks projects to fill service gaps

Health, Grants, Community
The Southwest Minnesota Adult Mental Health Consortium, or SMAMHC, has announced they have over $217,000 in unspent grant funds for 2026. They are on the lookout for some innovative projects that can help strengthen mental health services and fill in the service gaps we have around here. It is an interesting opportunity, and I hope someone puts forward a good plan to bring some extra resources to our neighbors. This kind of funding could really help make things better for folks who need a bit of support. They are currently looking for proposals to address regional needs. If you are part of an organization that works in this field, you might want to look into it. It is a nice sum of money that could do a lot of good.
