Lester Prairie Man Dies in Highway 169 Crash

The 79-year-old driver was struck while standing outside his semi-truck.

A 79-year-old man from Lester Prairie died following a crash on Highway 169 in Nicollet County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the man was outside his parked semi-truck on the northbound shoulder when he was hit by a northbound pickup truck. The driver of the pickup, a 52-year-old man from Texas, reported no injuries. The incident is currently under investigation.
