New Science Teacher Coming to Town

Glenn Riggs will be teaching 8th Grade Science at the middle school this year after recently moving to Minnesota from Dallas, Texas. It is quite a change of scenery moving from the heat of Texas to our neck of the woods, but we are certainly glad to have him joining our school district. Middle school is such an important time for science curiosity, and having a new teacher with a fresh perspective is just what the doctor ordered for our 8th graders. I heard he is all settled in and ready to get the classroom experiments started as soon as the bell rings. It takes a brave soul to move across the country to teach, so let's make sure he feels right at home in Montevideo. If you happen to be a parent of an 8th grader, keep an eye out for any notes coming home from Mr. Riggs. It is always fun to see what new energy teachers from different states bring into our local classrooms. We are excited to see what the upcoming school year holds for his students.
