Ramsey Park Adds Pickleball and More Outdoor Games

Ramsey Park in Redwood Falls has more ways for visitors to play following a project by Friends of the Park and the city's Parks and Recreation Department.

According to a Redwood Area Chamber Ambassador recognition reported by My KLGR, the new amenities include two pickleball courts, permanent cornhole boards, a basketball hoop, tetherball and an onsite equipment rental station.

The Chamber gave Friends of the Park a Progress Award in recognition of its work. The organization operates under the Redwood Area Communities Foundation and collaborated with city recreation officials to make the improvements.

Additional recreational options can help families and friends enjoy the park without needing to join an organized league. Residents should check city Parks and Recreation information for current rules and equipment availability.
