Redwood County Awards $5.4 Million Goldmine Bridge Replacement Contract

Redwood County commissioners approved a $5,435,675.18 contract with R.R. Schroeder Construction for the Goldmine Bridge replacement on October 6. Lunda Construction bid $5,542,848.91, and Redstone Construction bid $6,109,026.39. The board also approved a cooperative agreement with Renville County, pending county attorney approval. The county highway department identifies this as a joint bridge replacement across the Minnesota River.
