Redwood Falls City Hall Alley Closed Through November 16

Utility payment drop box remains open to people on foot; plan around the Veterans Day office closure.

The alley north of Redwood Falls City Hall is closed to vehicle traffic through Monday, November 16, according to a city notice. The closure gives new concrete time to cure, or harden, during construction.

The public utility payment drop box remains available for walk-up use only. Drivers should plan to park elsewhere and walk to the box rather than drive through the alley.

City Hall, at 333 South Washington Street, normally handles in-person payments and other services Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. However, the city calendar lists City Hall as closed Wednesday, November 11, for Veterans Day.

Why it matters: The city's calendar lists November 16 as the public utilities payment due date, so the alley closure overlaps with the payment deadline. Customers can also use the online utility payment option linked from the city's website. For questions about access or payments, call City Hall at 507-616-7400.
