The Merc Is Making Headlines
Our favorite community hub lands in the local paper for a new good cause.

Merc, Fundraising, Madison, Community
The Madison Mercantile is teaming up with the Madison Hometown Keepers Fund to launch a community challenge this week, aiming to sign up 500 supporters to keep our town vibrant. Everyone knows that the Merc is the heartbeat of our little corner of the world, and now they are asking for a little extra love. The folks over at The Western Guard just ran a lovely piece about it, and let me tell you, it is quite the talk of the town. They are looking for neighbors, business leaders, and even folks who have moved away to help out. The goal is to get 500 people to chip in just eight dollars every single month. That is about the price of a fancy coffee, but it goes a long way toward keeping our cultural and economic scene strong. Kris said it best when noting that small towns really do thrive when we all invest in our neighbors. Whether you are living right here on Main Street or you are an alum cheering us on from a different state, they want you to join the club. It is all about keeping Madison the special place we know and love. I suggest you go look at the original post from the Madison Mercantile on Facebook to see the full story and find the link to sign up yourself.
