Trivia night returns to the Mercantile

The Madison Mercantile is hosting a trivia night for teams of 2-4 people this Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 7 p.m. to continue a tradition that began back in January 2022. It is always a treat to see how a shop changes over the years, though it is even better to see the same friendly faces showing up to test their knowledge. The folks at the Merc have been running this event for nearly five years now, and they still welcome everyone, no matter how much or how little trivia experience you might have. It is just the kind of local gathering that makes our town feel like a real community, even if it does mean I have to dust off my own old reference books just to keep up with the competition. Whether you are a regular or someone who has never stepped foot in a trivia contest, they have a spot for you to pull up a chair and join in the fun.
