Vesta Launches Municipal Website with Email and Text Alerts

The City of Vesta announced the launch of a municipal website in April 2026 with information on local services, public announcements and the option to subscribe to notifications.

The city's news page says residents can receive important alerts by email and text. It also offers information about city-service schedules and local updates.

For a rural city, digital notices can help reach people who are unable to attend every meeting or who do not regularly check a physical bulletin board. Residents may still need to verify urgent or official details directly with the municipality.

The subscription option is part of the city's own website. Minnesota Riverlands is an independent community information source and does not distribute official city alerts on Vesta's behalf.

Minnesota Riverlands follows the City's public updates to make local government and service information easier to discover.
