Walnut Grove family asks for help finding Gibby

A family is asking Walnut Grove neighbors for help finding Gibby, a light-colored dog pictured in a post shared in the Walnut Grove Community Facebook group.

In the post, Robert N Marschel Cowan said Gibby had been away without her brother for two days and a night, calling the absence very unusual. That time frame describes when the original post was written, not the length of time she has been missing as of today.

The owner said Gibby probably would not let a stranger get close, but wears tags with the family's phone number. Anyone with a sighting or information can contact the owner through the original Facebook post. If her tags can be read safely, they provide another way to reach the family.

Status note: The supplied screenshot shows the post as six days old. Minnesota Riverlands could not access subsequent updates or confirm whether Gibby has returned home. Check the original post for the latest information.
