The Madison Mercantile hosted a successful Wildlife At Work Field Day on July 21st. The event was held in partnership with the Wild Farm Alliance and Sharing Our Roots. The goal of the day was to show how nature and farming can work together. Attendees learned about the importance of biodiversity on working lands. Experts explained how farmers can encourage wildlife while keeping their farms productive. The field day included tours of farm sites. Participants saw firsthand how sustainable methods protect the environment. The Madison Mercantile organized this event to help the community understand local ecosystems.
