Honi Brown

Honi Brown brings deep experience in local media, business development, advertising strategy, and community-based revenue growth to Community Connections. Before co-founding the company, she built a strong record helping local publications and businesses create sustainable multimedia advertising partnerships, including serving as a senior business development specialist with CherryRoad Media and previously working as a general manager and advertising director.

As Chief Community Officer, Honi leads the work of turning Community Connections into a trusted local presence in every county we serve. She has built a career out of creating community connections and knows how to develop relationships with businesses, schools, nonprofits, civic leaders, and community organizations; listens closely to what each area needs; and builds partnerships that create value for the entire community.

Honi understands that successful local media is built through trust, consistency, and genuine relationships. Her ability to connect people, recognize opportunities, and create practical solutions helps ensure that Community Connections remains locally relevant, financially sustainable, and firmly rooted in the communities it represents.
